I have this name in with my ancestors but not sure how they fit in b1855 in North Shields, England i have seen a census 1871 on Ancestry but not a subscriber if possible all information on that census, also 1861c and i think the name has been mispelt as i have looked on free bmd and cannot find nothing to go with with this spelling any help and information would be greatly appreciated. Have you no idea what-so-ever how she fits in your tree. Have you the name of someone she may have married or some other clues.

Looking at the image I wouldn't be surprised if the name was mistranscribed but the writing and spelling are terrible. Even the word servant looks like survent to me throughout the images. I wouldn't have liked to have been the person trying to transcribe that folio.

What ever her name is meant to be, she is a servant and not living with her family.

Hi Starlight I know she is on one of the family census but not sure which one as when i had the free trial i put it in my shoe-box, now no longer have free trial so only census i have are 1881 which are free, i have lost all other census (41-1901) (wish i had of printed them out) silly me. Sharron

One my post I said she. It has been transcribed as male but I am unable to find any gender. Maybe someone will have better eyes than me.

I have been looking at that surname again and I think it could be Willoughby. There is an Isabella Willoughby Birth: abt 1855 - North Shields, Northumberland on the 1861 census. The first letter deffinatelty looks like a J though.
