Thread: LONDON GAZETTE - CEI Look-up

I have looked but cannot find an entry in the London Gazette from the the 1927 Kings Birthday Honours List.



Lt-Colonel Roderick William MacDonald DSO CIE was appointed Companion to the Most Eminent Order of the Indian Empire



He was Inspector-General of Police in Burma at the time, and the Governor presented the award. But I have not found it recorded or a citation anywhere.
