I know cos I have been looking for one circa 1944 -1948, it wasn't unitl; after WW1 that divorce was even on the statute books..... the saying you make your bed lie on it!

The search facility identified the co-respondent in a divorce that related to my family and solved a big mystery - hope that you are as fortunate - you can also pick up some older divorce cases in The Times on-line.

I must admit, Im not quite sure I agree that you cant find a dicorce prior to WW2. I have found the complete set of divorce records from the high court of London, for a divorce in my family from 1880. I used the National Archives, and it was fairly easy to find. I was very lucky though!!
