I'm looking for some help with some pre 1800 HAREWOOD records if possible.
My search starts with
HANNAH SHARP c. 1793 Harewood - is there a baptism record?
JOHN SHARP and MARY BRAYSHAW - married 25-11-1776 Harewood - were they her parents?
THOMAS BRASHEY and ANN COWPER - married 1750 Harewood - were they Mary's parents? If so, why Brashey not Brayshaw?
It would be wonderful to have any of the above confirmed/ clarified/ added to.

there is another john and mary with a number of children but they are referred to as "of bongate"

cant see the other john and marys marriage but there is a christening of one of their children before your john and mary marry so pretty sure they are a separate couple.

Hi Welshlady, Just picked up your replies - so much to get my teeth into - THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm especially excited by the 'Craven' link (witnesses) as this is the line I'm following - brilliant!
As an extra favour, could I ask you to confirm that Hannah Sharp (the first baptism you found)married William Craven in Harewood on 30-06-1823? This is the piece of the jigsaw that links the families.
I really appreciate all the time and effort you must have gone to on my behalf.

unfortunately what i was looking at doesnt seem to have marriages past around 1800. however looking at 1841 census seems very likely
