    Can anyone help please?

William Crow(e) was born in Norfolk (possibly Burnham Westgate) c. 1796. He became a private in the Royal Marines and married an Alice from North Shields - where I believe there is/ was a Marines base? Their daughter Elizabeth was born in 1824 and baptised on 26th March in CHATHAM. By the 1841 census the family is living in Norfolk. William died in 1843.

I would like to know Alice's maiden name, when and where she married William and more details of William's birth place etc. and feel the Royal Marines' records might hold the key - however I cannot get to Kew in person and haven't found records that I can access online.

Could any researchers out there with Royal Marines expertise help or advise me?

    Thank you!
