Could someone please point me in the right direction? Where would I look for a 1953 Will for someone who died in Hampshire?
Many thanks.

Hi Val,
I don't know if we have any members that are able to go to any of the below mentioned places now but you never know. You could try writing or phoning but I'm not sure if that will be easy for you.
Probate records (1858-present)
Request copies of wills and administrations from the Probate Service. The index to these records, known as the National Probate Calendar, is available to consult at the Probate Search Room, First Avenue House, 42-49 High Holborn, London WC1V 6NP (tel: +44 (0) 207 947 6000).
Partial indexes are available to consult at The National Archives, the Guildhall Library, the Society of Genealogists or local probate registries
Thanks so much Starlight for that information. I will try those sites and maybe I will be lucky.

Thanks for your repsonse Elsabels, I appreciate your help.
Unfortunately I am in South Africa so cannot visit the offices myself. I have a contact in the UK who may be able to do this for me.
