hi to all members

i am looking for a ewings groat the son of my 3xgreat grandparents born 2/4/1832 wick caithness scotland married catherine mckellar 29/10/1852 gorbals lanarkshire, they had 3 children, when catherine died he left scotland and went to live portsea island hampshire he got married again there in

1860 all i know is they called his wife ann. i would like to find any information about him . all i have is [ewing groats livig portsea town portsea island devon.with wife ann on 1861 census, like to know if any other family etc.appreciate any help.

I'd say Ann Scofield is the best bet for his 2nd marraige.

thank you for reply to my groat search, i will see what i can find out about him living there. and the son he had. as he left children in scotland with the families. jessie is my sister so this was a surprise to me. we are both doing the family tree but there is such a lot of them to find but getting there.and i have started my husbands now a well and keep hitting brick walls on this one.thank you for your help i greatly appreciate this.
