please can anyone tell me where i could look to find a record of a birth in 1808 please i have tried everywhere i can think of but found nothing

hi thanks for your replys, i am searching for the parents of thomas foster b i think liverpool but lancashire anyway, born 1808 i know he married elizabeth jones in 1831

i have tried the on line parish clerk records but nothing i have also tried other parish record sites but can find nothing

ps thomas is the father of john alfred foster born liverpool 1847 and john married harriet edington in 1860
