Thread: 1891 look up please

I am looking for mildred ANDERSON born swaffham 1877 in the 1891 census.



there is an entry on ancestry but i dont have full ancestry access. I have looked on Findmypast but there is no entry on there. i wonder if theres a transcription error at findmypast.



Mildred anderson was born june qtr 1877, swaffham. she is living with my gr gr grandfather in 1881 as grandaughter but i cant find who her parents are, i was hoping 1891 census may shed some light. the grandfather was james anderson, he is living on his own in 1891 and his children edward & harriet never married. there was a son john & a daughter sarah. sarahs child would have a different surname and John is my line, i have john with 6 sons, no daughters. I am wondering who mildred is connected to.



Please could someone look up ancestry for 1891 entry.

I searched for Mildred Anderson. This came up in London Marriages and Banns

there was also a son edward. i will check back, he was listed as unmarried in 1881 - but that doesnt mean she wasnt his. thanks for the lead.

It is likely that MILDRED is illeg, her father being the unmarried Edward ANDERSON, who appears to have remained single
