What information does a Burial Record yield ?



I am considering paying for such a record from the London Metropolitan Archives.

Did you know some London burial records are available on line at certain subscription sites!



Post info on this site and you never know what you may get...... I have a subs to Ancestry which incudes this...others have other sites...

Hi Chohrge,



Burial records normally gave the name of the deceased, the date and place of burial. Records for women may also give the name of her husband when written as e.g Mary wife of John Smith. However, early records may only give her name as wife of John Smith.
