hi everyone.

i am trying to trace my husbands fathers family, all i have to go on is he was joseph alfred barker born abt,1912 blackfriargate hull east yorkshire.this area is the old part of hull and may be on the census as holy trinity or myton. any information would be greatly appreciated.

Mothers maiden name Fish.

The only marriage I can see for a male Barker to a female Fish is this one---

James Barker married Maggie Fish Apr, May, Jun, 1915 in Bolton Greater Manchester 8c 710.

thank you for reply i am going to see if the maiden name of fish is correct as i now find there is a few more brothers and sisters.i have no dates yet but know there is a sister called susan and brothers jack and jim, so will have get some dates of a family member if possible. greatly appreciate your help.

thank you for the reply your joseph seems to fit the one i wanted, now i will have o try and trace the rest of this family, as my husband cannot remember them as last time he saw them he was only a very young boy, i would now like to find out about his mother and father where they were born etc. so greatly appreciate the help with this one i now know the maiden name for my husbands grandmother.
