William Stagg, Gunner, Royal Artillery was stationed in Woolwich, Kent in 1870-71. His 4 year old daughter Margaret Stagg died Mar.1871 in Woolwich. Is it possible to find out if her mother, also named Margaret died in 1871 too? This is a mystery as the father, William and 2 other daughters, Jane (1865) and Harriette (1870)end up in Canada. Very grateful for any help. Thanks, Linda

Checked 2 sources for BMD and cannot find reference to MArgaret STAGG b 1839

A bit more info about the family, I just cannot pick up on a census! But then there are many variations of the name
