Thread: Irish marriage

I was told by a g aunt that Nicholas Cereghino (Italy 1843-5) was chased around Ireland by Rose McAlister until they finally married, first born was 1864 Randall, so maybe they married just before this date, any help appreciated

p.s Rose was from County Antrim x

There is a Irish parish records database on the web - not complete yet - http://ifhf.brsgenealogy.com and I can see 9 marriages under the name Rose McAlister around 1865 (-/+ 4 years) - try it there, searches are free and to view a record it costs 5 euros.

You could try this site (though with limited coverage of Ireland) that has many McAlister's listed in Church records.
