Thanks for your information Im sure that will of great help. The person I am researching at the moment is my 3rd great grandfather Robert Moffat and his wife Jane. He was living in Kikrlinton, but in 1836 they appear to be living in Wetherall.
If you could help with this.

Your enquiry was Parish Records on the 'net. few and far between and none that I am aware of for Cumberland I have been searching the area for over 30 years from Cheshire.
The records for this area are held at the Record office in Carlisle the Archivist are pro Family Historians and most helpful. If you cannot make visit they may be able to help with photo copying.....otherwise the family history soc I gave you the link to have members who will look and get the info for you!
