I had a look for her birth 1882-85 but those names do not show.I expect they are nick names.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Ed,

I have an Aunty Nellie and that was the name she was given at birth... I did find this one but the year is different to yours for a birth..

Ed, I then carried out a Phonetic search for variants of the surname and again she is the only one comming up..

I will follow that up.She is the only child with a discrepancie in birth year.All the others were right on.

Nell and Nellie are common abbreviations for Helen/Helena/Ellen/Eleanor/Elena.
