I just did a genera1 search for BlACK AND POP1AR IN 1ONDON FOR 1901 and surprisingy there are 70 fami1ies to choose from so ther is p1enty of information to be gained.

This could be the birth registrations for William and Eva based on their age at marriage. You could use them to get the certifcates and thence parents names.
