Default "Jones" of Trydynn and Leeswood, North Wales

I am confident my familly tree is as follows:

    G/g grandparents: Edward Jones[b: Trydyyn, 1826], Mary??[b: Leeswood, 1828]. Children, all born in Leeswood: Hannah, 1855; Frances, 1857; Peter, 1860 - from 1861 Census

    G/g/g grandparents: Simon Jones[b: Llanarmon, 1792], Elizabeth ??[b: Tryddyn, 1791]. Children, all born in Tryddyn: Edward, 1826; William, 1830; Mary, 1828; Frineen, 1835; Price, 1844; Elizabeth, 1845 - from 1851 Census.

When trying to "proove" this line i am faced with multiple choices of birth and marriage certificates. Could someone please advise whether or not i must "work" my way through and purchase various certificates, until i achieve the correct one!

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Brian

    Hi

I think it would be useful if you posted a thread to ask for help with each of the female lines to ascertain their names before marriage. Some people are experts at looking for those things and this will narrow down your choices when going for certificates - they may also give you the exact references for the right reg office as well. Bear in mind the birth certificates will give you the mothers names and fathers if they were stated as well. The death certificates will give you the name of the person who registered the death and their relationship to the deceased . They both will give an address. The marriage certificate will give the fathers names and jobs - possibly and the witnesses may be helpful if the names are ones you recognise. Sometimes they could be anybody or registry or church staff as they were the ones who could read a read write.

If you want any census help - dont hesitate to ask as I can help this way and I am in Wales!

    regards
