hi can anyone help me with the sutcliffe family in and around haliwell lancs, george sutcliffe was a cabinet maker on his sons (my grandad)wedding cert in 1909,any help would be wonderful

i,m so sorry shirl i must have written that wrong,william was my grandad and he was married in 1909 to florence the only info i have about them is on the wedding cert and thats

hello helen william was 25 when he married and florence was 23

William was 25 in 1909 so was born abt 1893/4.



I can't see a likely chap in 1901, only this one RG13; Piece: 4111; Folio: 52; Page: 31

father is called George but he's a mason's labourer.

hi noggin28 i dont think thats my man living at the benns house i,ve since asked an old aunt who says he was an auctioneer in lowestoft after he got married,he and florence both got married at a registrar office and they left from the same address but i notice that the benns son is down as an auctioneer thats a coincidence
