Thread: Sparksman Family - Havant, Hampshire

Hello!



I'm researching the Sparksman family who originally came from Havant, Hampshire. I've gone back through the census records to 1841 to find John and Ann living in West Street. He is a Glover.

I'm trying to find their marriage - John Sparksman (b 1806 Havant) and Ann Downley (poss Downtey) (b abt 1814). I think it would have taken place around 1835-6 judging by the age of their first child.

Can any one help?

I had a 1ook for Downley on the 1841 census but I on1y coud find a group in 1ancashire and nothing for Downtey - so I guess your best p1an is the marriage cert
