Thanks for replying. So far I think I have traced Stephen born circa.1826 in St. Germans, who married Elizabeth Benney in 1946. She was born in East Stonehouse. I think Samuel was Stephen's father or grandfather. Samuel was born circa 1781 and married a Catherine Nichols. I think she was also born in St. Germans circa 1786. Cannot trace anything further for Elizabeth Benney. Know Stephen came to London but wondered if any of his siblings and their descendants are still living in Cornwall.
Any information will be gratefully received.
