Thread: Phoebe Littlemore b.c.1809 Northop Flintshire

Hi,



Can anyone please help me. I'm trying to find the maiden name of Phoebe, who was born in Northop area of Flintshire c. 1809 and married Thomas Littlemore around 1829. Can't find anything in Cheshire marriage records, (Thomas born there), but as their first born, Joseph Littlemore was also born in Northop area, in 1830 and they then returned to Cheshire, I'm guessing that the marriage took place in Flintshire.

You might find it easier to buy a birth cert for one of their children born after 1837 as that will have Phoebe's maiden name on it.

It might be worth having a word with the registry office in Hawarden, since that is the nearest one to Northop. They might be able to point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the info. I'll try the birth certificate route first, as some of her children were born after 1837. I'll then try Howarden,
