Thread: John Skinner married Sarah Jane Smith

I have John George Skinner born abt 1809 and Sarah Jane Smith born abt 1813.

They supposedly married in Halstead Kent on 12 Oct 1834.

Can anyone look this up for me? .

I am trying to find their birth dates or even their parents. I do know they migrated to Australia on the 'Orleana' in 1840 (unfortunately before the 1841 Kent cencus).

The site I've used has got several entries for the same couple with the same marriage date, but different places. The two places are not far apart. I have also found a possible christening for John. Bethersden is 30 miles from West farleigh.
