    Default Edith Woolnough 1901 cencus

Hi, can any one do me a lookup please for Edith (Augusta) Woolnough in Suffolk East, Ufford. 1901 cencus.

Her place of birth is, I think, down as Beckenham, Kent although the one I was looking for was born in North Aylesford, Kent (but there's something fishy going on, so if it is my girl ~ she may have been telling porkies...lol)

~ either that or she's died or got married (& deserted her 2 girls) ~ so these will be my next places to search if this is a dead end!

    Thanks in advance

    Kirst

Ok ~ thanks everyone for your efforts...

I've got a feeling it's not my girl coz on the 1891 cencus she is living at home with her father & her two daughters ~ Esther b.1884 & Beatrice b1887.. on the 1901 cencus you guys found she had Emily in 1890, but Emily isn't on the 1891 cencus in Strood (North Aylesford). So I guess this was another wild goose chase... but I'll file it under my 'vaguely possibles'...just in case I uncover further evidence.

Sorry , but thanks so much for looking.

IGI Individual Record FamilySearch™ International Genealogical Index v5.0 British Isles

MARIA WOOLNOUGH Marriages: Spouse: JAMES BAKER

Marriage: 05 DEC 1869 Strood Near Rochester, Kent, England

The above plus the census below would suggest that Maria, Edith's mother married James Baker. The 1901 census which I haven't looked at would suggest that James Baker had given Esther and Beatrice his Surname and called them his daughters.

Yes, I have established all of this, and have certificates etc.

... but I just can't find out what has happened to Edith Augusta Woolnough/Baker after 1891.

I will search again, under Baker, & see if I can find her in the marriages or deaths under that name.

... I've been searching for ages, but I will find out in the end...thanks for everyones help
