My g/g grandparents were John Dunn[born 1822 in Richmond, stonemason] and his second wife Mary Heseltine[born 1839?? in West Burton].
Can someone please:
a] Verify Mary's parents were Leonard Heseltine[born 1805] and Ann Edmundson[born 1816] and her date of birth.
b] Advise John Dunn's parentage.

Aysgarth is about 2/4 from West Burton. It is also the registration district for BMD but I was unable to find a birth reg for 1839.

Hi again, i have a birth certificate of one of John and Mary's daughters. Mary is recorded as only Mary. However, i have other information calling her as Mary Edmundsen Heseltine, and also confirming your findings.

Hi, thank you for the above information which i believe is mostly correct. It's a little overwhelming to receive such help. I have some unproved research saying Thomas married Mary Peacock on 11 Feb, 1793 in Aysgarth - could i ask you to please check!

You could have a problem with the parents of Leonard. All those lised below could fit because in the birth it just states Thomas and Mary.

The original parish records might have the full name of the mother on the Birth/Christening. You could request someone with the parish records to look it up for you.
