Thread: Alfred Charles Canepe 1891?

Hi,



Would it be possible for someone to try and find Alfred Canepe on the 1891 and 1901 census, please? He was born c. 1870, St Martins, Middlesex.



I've found him on previous censuses as Campe, Canipe and Canepe and I'm now out of ideas of what name he has been transcribed as!



By 1901 he was married to Florence Rose, born c. 1866, St Pancras, Middlesex.

Have found a Alfred Campe on the1891 census b1869 Mile End London.

His mother is Mary E campe. Does that sound like the family.

Probably a total red herring there is an A CANIPE on ancestry.co.uk

Thank you both for your replies. Alfred married Florence Rose Albrow in 1896. They had a daughter in 1905, so I know they were definately still in the country.



I have the rest of the family 'unit' in 1891 and 1901, so he must of moved out by then.

Thank you for your reply. Alfred is Violet's half brother from her father's 1st marriage.



Here the family in 1881. I cannot find any of the children from 1st marriage on the 1891 or 1901 census. Just really difficult with the mis-transriptions!

Presumable father remarried therefore 4 children are form his first marriage those born after 1880 are from his 2nd marriage
