Default Richard Barnard born 1797 Bradfield, Norfolk then Cambridgeshire

Does anyone have access to Parish Records for Bradfield Norfolk UK? I have Richard Barnard b 1797 Bradfield, Norfolk in my tree. He married an Elizabeth. I would like to know her maiden name and when they got married. Also Richards parents if at all possible.

At some point Richard and Elizabeth moved to Elm, Cambridgeshire and had children. One being Robert Barnard. I have found Richard and Elizabeth on 1841 census and Richard on 1851 census with one son Samuel.

If someone has access to records for Cambridge as well and can find my elusive Richard, Elizabeth and family it would be appreciated. I have come to the brick wall, which is proving hard to knock down.

In anticipation. Hope I am not asking too much in one go.

Oh dear - that is the year I have got but could be a "circa" I suppose. Taken from census but then they were not always accurate were they? This family is so hard in tracking down.

I find it hard to believe that Richard was born in Norfolk and then moved sticks to Cambridgeshire where his son Robert Barnard and possibly siblings were born!!

Thank you though for your quick response. First time I have used this site and hoping for good results!

There are some searchable Cambridge parish records on FMP.

Thank you - Am showing my ignorance here - what is FMP?

I think my initial search for Richard is still in Norfolk though or what?

I've found the answer to FMP but my problem is its a paying site and, at the moment, my pension is limited!! Back to the drawing board.

I think you need to ask someone to look at the Bradfield parish baptisms for you. If you email Norfolk Records Office and ask very nicely they may do this. I've got some free look ups by being polite!
