Thread: Help on a birth please

can anyone help me please as i'm having trouble finding the birth certificate for Thomas Martin son of Thomas Martin and a Rose Mary ?. He was born about 1876 in the East End of London. I thought i'd found him 3 times but each time i got the GRO to check for me it was the wrong parents any help would be appreciated as this is a common name! Thanks in advance.

Thanks alot for your reply and yes, i know Thomas, the child on this census is my grandfather and it's his birth certificate i've been having trouble with. If you mean you can take it back further on his mother and father that would be brilliant.Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you to The Lady Marion for your reply but the Bromley i meant isn't the one in Kent but Bromley by Bow in Londons East End but thank you for your kindness.
