Thread: Passenger Lists from Canada to UK in 1931/32

Hi, I am quite new to this so please bear with me. My aunt and uncle emigrated from England to Canada in 1929 with their 3 children. However, by 1931/32 they were on their way back home to England. I need to find out the name of the Ship that they sailed back on and possibly the exact date. My aunt was on her own with the 3 children on the journey back. Her name is Clara F Callow, born Oct 1899. The 3 children were Bernard S Callow, Joyce Emily Callow, and Gwendoline B Callow. They would have sailed from either Montreal or Halifax and landed in Southampton. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction to find out this information.



I would be really grateful, as I am in my mid 70s and would like to tie up the loose ends in this chapter.

The incoming passenger list on Ancestry.com shows them arriving from Montreal on board the "Ausonia" on 10 November 1930, so a little bit earlier than you thought. Hope that is useful. Incidentally, they arrived in Canada (Quebec) on 6 July 1929 on board the "Alaunia".
