Thread: Hitting that brick wall on Ancestors

Would anyone out there be so kind to help me find some of my ancestors ,I keep hitting that brick wall ..and it hurts...I am trying to find information on John Wyatt & Margaret {Broad ??} I know who John Wyatt's parents were ..but nothing about Margaret {his wife} here is what I have found ....Margaret Wyatt / Birth /March 20, 1698 /1702 /Place/ Saint Faith under Saint Paul ,London, London England ....but I'm not so sure of this information , could someone help me pin point a date ? And also information on Thomas Hill & Elizabeth Jones ...here is where it gets confusing ,I have several dates ...Thomas Hill & Elizabeth Jones /Marriage date/ 1746 / Place / Martock Somerset, England ,and another one for November 8, 1754 /Birth / 1726 /Place /Martock somerset, England ...they had a daughter named Mary Hill {my 4th. Great grandmother } these are her parents Mary Hill was born December 25, 1755 and Christened in January 26, 1755 ..so that is my story ...can anyone help me ? Rosebud1

I've had a read of your message but I can't find mention of possible date r place of marriage for John Wyatt and Margaret Broad.



The only record of a marriage I can find with these names is this one. have a look and see what you think-could it be a possibility?

Also, Thomas Hill and Elizabeth Jones marriage. I've found one with the date you mentioned of 8th November 1754, in the same area as Thomas Wyatt's. Again, have a look and see what you think. I can't find one in Somerset.

When was Thomas Wyatt's birth? Working on the assumption that as they married in Worcester, they were born there, I carried out a search for Margaret Broad's birth/christening in Worcester. Only 2 came up on the site, 1 can be ruled out straight away as it was in 1641!



The other is this one. It may be a possibility, you'll have to see what yoou think. Chaddesley Corbett is not far from Old Swinford.
