Hi, I don't know if anyone can help here as the people I'm trying to find are fairly recent. I have the details of the son who is also deceased and am looking for the parents but as they are Irish I'm not having much luck.



The son was Thomas Joseph Smith born 5th March 1944 Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, Ireland. His parents are Thomas Smith and Margaret Rahall, I have found Margaret, I think, DOB 16th November 1871 Cavan. Other children, if this helps are Michael, Kathleen (Kitty), Elizabeth, Margaret, John & Bridey. No dates there I'm afraid but would welcome some.

These are my DIL's family and it's for a gift for my grand daughter.

Are these date right? Margaret born 1871, son Thomas, born 1944 - that would make her 73 at the time of his birth?



Did Thomas die in 1944?

No, see how hard it's been for me with this Irish line! I've obviously missed a generation, or the limited info my DIL has may be wrong, which will make it even more difficult won't it? Thank you for pointing that out Brian, Thomas was deffinately born in 1944 though.
