Thread: freda simpson

trying to find information on freda simpson.im not sure when she was born.she was living in lucknow india in 1941 though with her husband joseph george hills who was there serving in the britsh army.

I have found Joseph George Hills Jnr on various passenger lists arriving back in the UK between 1945 to 1960 travelling with his siblings. From these records I was able to find that his mother was called Emmeline Grace Freda born 2nd January 1922.



Joseph Jnrs mum and dad’s marriage is recorded in the Army Returns Marriage Index:-

I have been unable to find a birth for her – but her death index record is:-

i have now found that freda was born in calcutta india in 1922.still looking for her parents and siblings...and am still hitting my head against brick wall!!!lol. only have her parents surnames... simpson and peebles
