Im looking for a birth for Charles George born in Hanmer Flintshire or Cheshire 1844. I can find two people who match possible years but my man did not remember where he came from, i think his father was a John George.
Any help how to try and locate my chap . I do know he lived on the stafford road in wolverhampton with his wife Elizabeth on later census.

In the CheshireBMD website there is this entry for 1840 to 1845:

Many thanks for everyones help on Charles George.
Some of you found him on the census, He was born in 1844 i believe ,and did marry an Elizabeth Farmer as i have his marriage certificate. I can find him on most census and as someone found i think he was in the poorhouse on the 1851 census. His father was a John George from the marriage certificate.
As to the birth certificate, thanks for sending those details but im not sure it is him. Im not really sure where his birth was, hey if he couldnt remember from census to census how should i know haha. I think the next step is just to send for the certificate hoping if more than one charles was born only one had a father called John.

Hanmer Flintshire (in the diocese of Chester) is only 3.8 miles south of parish of Threapwood in Cheshire and in the Ellesmere Shropshire registration district. It could be the family lived in Cheshire but he was baptised in Hanmer or changing between refering to county or diocese
on the North Wales BMD website there is in 1843

The Cheshire diocese info was from GENUKI website, The 3.8 miles from Threapwood was from D.M.Bennett's free Parish Locator program, The Registration district was from FreeBMD website.
