Hi, I am looking for any information to do with Robert Ball born somewhere between 1817-1821 in the Whitwick area of Leicestershire. He was a coal miner, and the son of Richard Ball, a stocking weaver. By the 1841 census he was living in Darlaston, Staffordshire where he died in 1870.
Any help would be gratefully received, thanks

If this is the 1841 census you refer to Roberts fathers name was Robert.

Thanks for your reply. I got the name Richard from Robert's marriage certificate - at least I assumed the name was Richard as it actually said R'd Ball.
