    Hi



    I am trying to find my gt x 3 grandfather RICHARD PARKINSON b @ 1801 in the Catterall/Garstang area of Lancashire. Little is known of him, I think he may have married Elizabeth ? and 3 of his sons were called JOHN, WILLIAM and DANIEL. John Parkinson is my gt x 2 grandfather, his son GEORGE married LUCY BUTTERWORTH (she was from Rochdale) and had my grandmother DORIS PARKINSON in 1911 Burnley. Doris married JAMES WILKINS and had 5 children, JAMES 1936 being my father. Would be grateful for anyone who has an interest in the Parkinson family from Lancashire

    Do you have any dates for the births of JOHN, WILLIAM and DANIEL ? It would be useful to do some searches.

    May I thank all who have responded to my search for Richard Parkinson. To Niggin, thank you for the parish records. I was informed that Richard's wife was indeed called Elizabeth. do you think it is the same family as is loiving in Blackburn in 1841? The dates I have for William Parkinson is @ 1828, Daniel @ 1828 and John @ 1832.
