Thread: Lloyd, Gwillam, Brace

I am researching my family tree, contains names lloyd, Gwillam and Brace, I am however struggling with my Lloyd side of the family, my granddad was Richard Samuel Lloyd born 1912 Birmingham, his father Richard Lloyd born 1879 Aston Birmingham.

Thank you, I have upto my gr gr grandad also Richard lloyd born abt 1856, he married Sarah Eliza Hollick abt 1859 I think, I am not sure if this accurate, I can't seem to confirm if all details are correct, as I also found Richard lloyd b 1840 married Sarah Eliza b1848, not sure where my gr gr gr (or something to that) was born assuming it was Shropshire Warwickshire also.



This is were my trail really ends.

Hi, The only birth certificate that I have is that of my granddad Richard Lloyd born 1919 mother Hannah Ashford and father Richard Lloyd Born 1879. I have asked family to try and get me more birth certificates from the Lloyd side but I don't think they can afford all the expense. As I live in SA it is also rather expensive with the exchange rate for me to apply for certificates when I wouldn't know which ones. My gr grandad was definately Richard Lloyd born 1879 and his wife Sarah Eliza this is correct.

Hi, My gr grandad Richard Lloyd born 1879 married Hannah Ashford in September 1909 when Richard died in 1927 she remarried same year to William Broadfield they had a son called David born 1946, this is from my moms memory.



My grandad Richard 1912 had several siblings, Edward born 1916, Annie 1914, Joan 1920, William 1918, Jack 1921, Ivy 1926
