ok here goes,



My grandfather was called william samuel rees, born 1910 in neath, wales.

Have his birth certificate and found him with his parents and siblings in 1911 census.



I have his parents marriage certificate

Father David Rees was married once before to a woman name catherine and had a daughter elizabeth

Mother Sarah Ellen Rees nee Hughes

was married once before to john Evans and had a daughter minnie



found both sarah and david with their 1st husband/wife in 1901 census



David rees; father is called david rees and sarah's father was called william hughes.

I have found sarah with her parents in 1881 and 1891, her mother was called ellen. Sarah was born in liverpool around 1875.



I'm trying to find:

sarah's birth certificate

her parents william and ellen's marriage certificate

david rees' birth certificate



the problem i have with william is he has cited his birth in different places with different dates its hard to track him down



any more info you need, anything i forgot to add let me know and i will get back to you asap

I have carried out a search for you and found Sarah Ellen in another person's tree. They think that she was born in May 1874. The only record I could find that matches this is this one, but no sign of the 'Ellen'

The only Sarah Ellen Hughes that comes up between 1874-1876 is this one, but where it is registered is closer to Manchester!

I think you will need her birth certificate to get any further with her parents marriage as you will need a maiden name for her mother.

in 1881

he states that he was born in Corwen, Merionethshire, Wales in 1841



i have found a birth for a william hughes in Corwen, Merionethshire, Wales in 1841 vol 27 page 140



so first thought is that its him



but then i find him on the 1891

and he states that he was born denbighshire in 1844



i can find him in 1901, ellen has died,

he states he was born in Meirioneth, Bala in 1845





they moved around alot, i know they have lived in bangor, Swansea, liverpool and carmarthenshire



edit:

i decided to search for her father william, knowing it would be a long shot without sarah's birth certificate but it passes the time.



Anyways, i actually think i could have found him. In the census i can see him in 1881, 1891 and 1901 and he gives different ages and places of birth but i have found a william hughes that matches the 1881 census perfect.

and i think i found them in 1851 census

i havent been able to find them anywhere else or a marriage for margaret and samuel or their births
