Help!! am trying to look for birth details of Margaret Williamson born newcastle approx 1851, name on marriage cert shows Margaret Donkin Mills father james Mills married John williamson 1881 gateshead have mc but cannot find anyther details any help would be appreciated

The only "hit" on Ancestry for Margaret Donkin Mills is the marriage index entry.

Can't see a likely Margaret Mills on 1861 census but there are several Margaret Donkins.



Do you have a birthplace for Margaret on censuses after her marriage?

hi place of birth is newcastle around 1851 in 1881 census find her with husband john williamson in the household of who i believe is his brother william williamson still using name donkin mills i do wonder if she either was married before(thogh on ms shows spinster) or parents were not married hence father james mills having different surname
