Hi
So have taken a look around and have a couple of questions - did this family have any connection to Salford?
I have found 2 births for Nettleton's in Gibraltar during that period
Richard Amos 1896
Agnes Katherine 1899
No Louise though.
I also have a Sgt Nettleton coming back from Gib in 1901 - he has an unnamed wife with him and 2 children a boy aged 7 and a daughter aged 9 so don't think that they can be yours!
Do you have a date and place of birth for Richard James Nettleton? I have found Catherine's - 1876.
on his sons birth he is RICHARD JAMES NETTLETON private in royal engineers yes catherine ellen was born in 1876i have tried to trace her oldman by his birth but nothing, his dad on their wedding cert was also richard james nettleton (deceased) he was a sapper in the royal engineers
