Thread: Hickson, Lloyd & King business-Manchester help

Can anyone give me any information where to find anything on the business Hickson Lloyd and King in Manchester round about 1870-1900's...

could be from earlier. my grandads adopted parents william and sarah Boardmans family eg Sarah anns family were quite well off and I think owned part of the Business. Their name is Hickson.



I know there was an early bank called this but I think it would be more the cotton merchants as they all seemed to have occupations to do with tailoring etc.



Any info at all would be helpful or just to let me know where to look for info myself.

I Googled Hickson, Lloyd & King and there are two hits on the first page, someone researching the Barnsley family and timeline results which are adverts. I would also try historical directories online.
