Stauntons of Jersey /India

I am looking for information on the Staunton family of Jersey.
William born around 1795 and sons Patrick abt 1822 and James abt 1824 plus any other sibblings. I believe Jane Forester was Williams wife.
I know Patrick at some point went to India where he married Harriet Hannah Baxter in 1854 in Madras. I'm do sure if the rest of the family went too.
I have hit a brick wall
