Does anyone know how I can find out what churches were around in Spitalfields in the early 1800's. I have found Christchurch, but how do I go about finding any more?
Many thanks

Hi Teresa
Stanfords map of Parishes around the city is on the MAPCO website
http://archivemaps.com/mapco/london.htm
Also the West Surrey FHS research Aids No 6 & 8 are very useful in finding which road a parish is in and also when parishes' were formed and from what parish.
Spitalfields Market is in Christ Church, Commercial Road
