IM STUCK percy or pearcy

hi all
im confused!!!
i have an ancestor called Jane Percy b 1827, wilts she married a Amos Pitt b 1828 wilts, 7 nov 1847 on their marriage certificate she names her dad as Reuben Percy, but ive looked at the 1841 census and can't find him though there is a Reuben Pearcy married to a Ann, but there isn't any sign of Jane

Hi Carol
When it come to census a lot have been mistranscibed which make the search harder , so possible Percy could be Pearcy, Parcy and if bad writer maybe Darcy Racy the 1841 are the worst. I would not rule out Pearcy .Maybe one of the members may track him down for you goodluck.

This could be the christening of Jane and Parents are Reuben and Ann.

This as you say does not show Jane but is the same civil parish. On the 1841 census for Jane She may have been living with one of Ann or Reuben's married sisters.
