Default TRYING TO TRACE GEORGE CAINES & SAMUEL BROWN

Hi I am looking for some help to trace my greatgrandparents.I hardly have any information. Both lived in Northern Ireland (Belfast )though I suspect that George was born in the UK. George was father of 9 children including Christopher and Arthur(born 1909), served in the Army and in 1933 was a tram driver.Samuel was father of 3 or more children including Isabella(born 1910) Arthur and Isabella are my grandparents, both deceased. They married in 1933 in St Anne's cathedral in Belfast. I have a copy of their marriage certificate and their death certs but that is all.

I have searched the 1911census but can only find one very loose match for a Brown family which includes a daughter Isabella and a resident Samuel but he is not named as the head of the household.

Ive tried tracing life events for everyone named in the census but have hit brick walls . Can anyone help me please

    Hi
I've come across your George Caines on a couple of occasions - 1901 Irish Census where he is a drummer at Cavan Barracks (occupation: farm labourer) I 1901 in 1911 he was serving as a drummer with the 2nd Battalion Devonshire Regiment in Malta (looks like he was also the regimental barber). His wife was Rebecca and his children by 1911 included Christopher and Arthur. George was born in Donegal and Rebecca in Armagh.
