Thread: Mary O'Donnall (O'Donnell)

Sorry to be a pain but can anyone help with Mary O'Donnall Family. The info I have got so far is:

Mary O'Donnall born c1831 Ireland, she married a ? McGrath, she had 4 children, all born in Warrington Cheshire/ Lancashire.

Margaret Mcgrath born 1855

Thomas McGrath born 1858

Catherine McGrath born 1860

James McGrath born 1865



Mary got married again to a John Hickey in 1869 in Warrington. However I have also got a Mary O'Donnall on the 1881 Census as a Boarder, she was born in c1862 in Golbourne Warrington. Could this be just coincidental that this boarder as got the same surname as Mary?



I also can't find a marriage for Mary and this McGrath guy. Hope someone can help before I end up in the Lunatic Asylum

Could this be them in 1861, the surname is wrong but everything else seems to fit. John, Mary and Patrick all born Ireland, the rest Warrington.

Pauline, this is probably the Mary O'donnell you refer to in 1881. Both her parents were born Galway, Ireland.

Pauline, as their first child was born in Ireland they were probably married there.
