Dates would help. Are any of them likely to be on the 1911 Irish census?

    Hi

Could there be a possibility that some of the family may have been born in Devon – I have noted a small amount of information on a message board that suggests that the family you are looking for may be the children of a James Francis Croke and Henrietta Fletcher.

The Irish connection is James Francis Croke who was born, according to these sources, on 26 July 1881 in Tipperary but through “Naval connections” spent time in Devon.

Done just a little follow up and have found the following:-

    Sound familiar????

    Marriages Dec 1903

CROKE James Francis Plymouth Vol. 5b Pg. 572

FLETCHER Henrietta Plymouth Vol. 5b Pg. 572

    Births Sep 1904

CROKE Winifred Emily Plymouth Vol. 5b Pg. 253

(There is a daughter who has posted on various boards who is anxious to meet family members – will send you the e.mail address by PM if you would like to make contact to investigate whether the family “is” related)

    Births Sep 1907

    CROKE Sydney James W E E. Stonehouse Vol. 5b Pg. 270

    Births Jun 1909

Croke Harold Claude E. Stonehouse Vol. 5b Pg. 268

Hi there, came across your quote and discovered that my wife's mother Winifred (Winnie) is Sydney's sister. Can you give me any other info on the family as I am researching the Croke's, Fletcher's, O'Leary's, and Brady's.

    Thanks,

    Pat Henry (USA)
