Am looking for my husbands family they came from the Borough of Bow & Bromley. Herbert Charles Black 24/1/1934 his mother's name was Eva Black formally Bailey and his fathers name was William they lived in 106 Grundy Street, Poplar, London. We know nothing about them as far as we know they were bombed in the war and Herbert was brought up in an orphanage. He died when my husband was only 6mths old (1959), can anyone shed any light on any of them, were any of them killed/survived did Herbert have any siblings.

Below is the marriage Reg for William & Eva plus the birth reg for what looks like some of their children. Suggest you purchase the marriage cert to get fathers name you might then find william on the 1911 census.
