Thread: Look Up in the National Buriel Index Please!

Is it Possible for some one to look up in the National Buriel Index for my grandmother please?

Her name was 'Elizabeth Maria Stuart' (nee'Inchcomb) died about June 1924 (?) in the BDM she is down for the June quarter of 1924, for Aston (Manchester ?)

Hi,

If I am looking at the right one, then the Reg Dist was Ashton, which as FreeBMD says is

"The district Ashton is an alternative name for Ashton under Lyne and it spans the boundaries of the counties of Cheshire and Lancashire"



She could have been buried in a dozen different places, so I think you need to get the death cert first to find out where is most likely.
