Thread: BMD puzzler

Hi,

Trying to confirm a marriage from BMD for Helena Dear b1923 Dec.

Married around 1943, no-one in contact with any of the family.

A marriage shows up with the correct bride name but not sure about the groom Jarvis.

Usually I can swap the names round and come up with the husband and get a first name but not in this case.

I was hoping the first name would be a memory jogger for the remaining rellies.

Is this just a hiccup you come across from time to time?

I don't want to lash out for a cert and end up with the wrong one.

Helena Dear married Arthur H Jarvis in Hitchin, Hert's, 1st qrt 1943.
