John Emery born about 1800 Pembury, Kent

Hi

I have a copy of the 1861 census showing John Emery born in Pembury, Kent about 1800. I think he married a Harriot Kemp born in Wadhurst. I cannot find any record of their marriage or of John's birth and would be grateful for any help.

Hi Brian,

I don't think the igi has Pembury records - which is probably why you can't find the records you are looking for.

This site, run by volunteers, has a lady named Daphne offering Pembury look-ups. It may be worth contacting her.

I found this could he have been born in Tunbribge Wells, I believe Pembury is close by.

Thank you for your interest but the John Emery I am looking for is the one married to Harriet Kemp. The John born in 1835 I already have as their son. If you find any more information I would be very interested to hear from you.
