My great grandfather John William Llewellyn Shields was born 1891 in Sculcoates, North Yorkshire and was married to Henrietta Wittering born 1891 in MELTON MOWBRAY Leicestershire. Can any one please help me find out any more information please?

This is the only marriage I can find between a Mary Collins and John Warn(e) See post below (permalink 7) for ref to Collins. Probably not them as Mary Ann would be too young.

Bearing in mind Mary J Warn was born in Queenborough, Kent, in circa 1870, and Sheppey is very near Queenborough, also another ref to middle name Avis, this looks like the correct marriage and if so maybe Mary was married previously to a Mr Mckenzie.

So, Thomas Warn born circa 1863 could have been born Mckenzie/Mackenzie, or maybe John was also married before and Thomas is his son. I'll take a look..........he was born in East Stonehouse.
